Is it May 25th yet??
Hello my lovely readers -- sorry it's been awhile since my last post. With the boys on break and my school year winding up, that means little Jovi news and a LOT of real-life clutter on my plate. I spent the weekend packing, cleaning, loading cars, and moving out of my dorm (well, about 99%), and I'm living out of a suitcase for this last week during finals. I will be officially done with the year this Friday, and then I'm partying with a bunch of California Jovi fans at Universal CityWalk on Saturday night. Great way to end the school year!
Then I get to go home for a week and unpack my room (NOT looking forward to that, as there are boxes and totes all over my floor right now), then pack up again for my trans-continental adventure: New York, Bon Jovi and Giants, and then Holland with my boyfriend and family.
I'm excited. Have I mentioned that? I still cannot swallow the fact that I'm going to be in the pit -- and with 8th row, I feel like a doofus next to people who are no stranger to front row, but this is MY first time and I'm beside myself. It still feels like a dream - it's literally something I've dreamed of for years. I just keep thinking of all the nights I spent as a teenager in my living room, watching my live Jovi DVDs and hungrily taking in the giant crowds and infectious enthusiastic atmosphere at stadium gigs...and thinking, "How freaking cool would it be to BE THERE? And especially up front?" It seemed like something only the luckiest of fans (and richest) got to experience.
And I'm going to experience it! Not only the first excitement of GIANTS STADIUM, but then the pit on top of it? I don't even know how to express my emotions. I already know I'm going to cry that night.
Anyway, one more week of real life to go and I want to finish strong...then I can enjoy myself. I have to admit, I feel like I deserve it after the turmoil this year has put me through. And I'm going to enjoy every MINUTE!
Hath put this up on her blog and it made my heart pound -- the seating chart layout for the stadium shows.
So my question is now -- are YOU ready?!

Pit for Giants?!
YEAH BABY!So I have two new heroes: Rike (you all know as the ever-constant supply of Jovi goodies!), and my roommate Danielle.
Rike tweeted me today that there were PIT TICKETS ON BACKSTAGE AVAILABLE FOR 5/29. (Some of you remember I pm'ed Backstage a few weeks ago and they said they wouldn't be selling anymore? And I didn't believe them? Yeah.) And thanks to my new Blackberry, I got the tweet (so I guess that's a hero too, huh?) and generally started panicking...I was at work!!
So I called up my roommate and thank GOD she was in our dorm, and she dropped everything to log onto Backstage and enter my username and password (all three times...I swear, they make it like an obstacle course to get into the ticketing site)...and there were tickets available.
TICKETS AVAILABLE.
45 minutes after Rike had tweeted me!! I honestly couldn't believe it, I figured they would just be crap seats in the rafters. So I asked her to select the options and 1 ticket, and see what came up.
Guess what came up.
PIT 3
ROW 8
SEAT 12
OMFG. I think I waited about .000001 second before I was yelling GET IT!!! GRAB IT!! OMG!!!
I was freaking out in the hallway of the school where I work, scrambling for my credit card info and generally shaking like a leaf while I waited with bated breath for Danielle to say: "Done, confirmed."
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I know I must sound like a nutcase, but I have NEVER been in the pits. NEVER been to a stadium show. NEVER been to Giants. And NEVER thought I'd be able to do all three at the same time! A stadium show is big enough, I figured even the rafters would be fine with me since it's such a treat to be there. But I am one lucky b!tch...because I will be enjoying BON JOVI from 8th row in the freakin' pits, on Richie's side...and then can turn around and enjoy the view of their...backs...when they're on the catwalk. :)
I am SO excited, and SO happy. May 29th cannot get here sooner!!
P.S. That image is from 2006, the Giants Stadium shows during the HAND tour. Those of us non-attendees gathered for a huge PBP on Backstage, and I vowed to myself I would one day be there in person. I can't believe it's really happening now. That makes my other heroes my mom and dad and boyfriend, for sending me there in the first place. :) MUAH!

Giants Adventure!
In case you've been living under a rock lately, you might not know that I'm journeying to New York THIS MONTH (I can finally say that!) to see the band at Giants Stadium (I just can't get used to "New Meadowlands").
Thanks! :)
Because I don't have ENOUGH blogs to keep up with, I've started another one to document my adventures there - Bon Jovi, New York, and good friends. What could be better?!
I host a blog for every trip I take, so this is part of that collection -- called My Adventures Series. Feel free to check out my other adventures if you wish, as well as the new New York one.
Thanks! :)
